Steve Dale Williams has over 15 years of experience developing web applications with a focus on data. While just out of College he first implemented his own custom Content Management System at the University of Texas at Austin. He started some of the earliest transitions of library card catalogs, vertical files, digitization of books, images and video while making them searchable online. He extended his experience in developing applications for records management while collaborating with the Texas Digital Library to establish the UT Digital Repository for record management of graduate theses and professor publications. While at the University of Texas at Austin Steve developed projects using Cold Fusion, Java, MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MYSQL, XML, JavaScript, MooTools, jQuery, PHP and Teaching courses on Digital Repository Management. Steve started developing Drupal sites in 2008 and helped lead the transition of many applications into Drupal. He has worked with several clients in the private sector building data driven applications from small startups to eCommerce, to large Corporations. He has a knack for architecting maintainable software, simplifying and improving performance of complex queries, extending platform data storage solutions and managing feature releases. Steve has enhanced CMSs with Solr, MailChimp and Salesforce integration on several projects, with several data points. He has lead development teams, managed and architected projects at several companies and served as Vice President of Engineering at Drupal Connect. Steve founded Zilleem to bring together proven ideas in software development to mobilize and empower companies with technology.
